Tehnoloogiaettevõte LG Electronics (LG) esitles 14.veebruaril Barcelonas alanud Mobile World Congressil ametlikult oma uut kauaoodatud nutitelefoni LG Optimus 3D. Telefon on varustatud paljude uuenduslike tehnoloogiatega, mis teevad sellest maailma esimese telefoni, millel on üheaegselt nii kahetuumaline protsessor kui ka platvorm 3D-sisu salvestamiseks, vaatamiseks ja jagamiseks.  Ülikiire ja võimas LG Optimus 3D nutitelefon ühendab endas kaks tuuma, kaks kanalit ja topelt mälu. Tänu sellisele seadistustele on LG uus nutitelefon võimsam teiste 1GHz kahetuumaliste telefonidega võrreldes ning võimaldab kiiremat internetilehekülgede sirvimist, sujuvamat mängude mängimist ja filmide vaatamist.  LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company tegevdirektori ja presidendi dr. Jong-seok Parki sõnul viib 3D-toe ja suurepäraste tehniliste näitajatega LG Optimus 3D nutitelefonide kasutusvõimalused uuele tasandile. “Telefoni arendades pidasime silmas kogenud nutitelefonide kasutajaid ning loodame, et nad on rahul sellega, mida Optimus 3D neile pakub,” märkis ta.  LG Optimus 3D nutitelefoni 5MP kahe läätsega kaamera võimaldab kasutajal salvestada 3D-formaadis fotosid ja videoklippe. 4,3 tolli suurune WVGA ekraan võimaldab nautida 3D-sisu ilma spetsiaalseid prille vajamata. Selge ekraan laseb vaadata 2D-sisu kvaliteediga kuni 1080p ning 3D-sisu kvaliteediga kuni 720p. Salvestatud 3D-materjali saab mugavalt ja lihtsalt jagada HDMI 1.4 ühenduse abil 3D-teleritesse ja kuvaritesse, samuti ühildub telefon DLNA poolt sertifitseeritud toodetega.
