"Üliõpilastööde konkursiga julgustame noori mõtlema väärtpaberiturust võimalikult avatult ja erinevate vaatenurkade alt, olgu selleks õiguslik raamistik, mõju majandusele või hoopis inimeste käitumispsühholoogia. Kõik need aspektid mõjutavad ju väärtpaberiturgu otseselt," sõnas NASDAQ OMX Tallinna börsi juhatuse esimees Andrus Alber. "Viimase aasta jooksul maailma finantsturgudel toimunu peaks pakkuma rohkem uurimis- ja analüüsimaterjali kui keegi üldse tahta oskaks," lisas Alber. Väärtpaberiturgude teemalist üliõpilastööde konkurssi korraldab NASDAQ OMX Tallinna börs koos Tartu Ülikooli, Tallinna Tehnikaülikooli, Estonian Business Schooli ja International University Audentesega. Konkursile saab esitada nii bakalaureuse- kui magistritöid Tallinna börsi või Balti väärtpaberiturgu puudutavatel teemadel. Tööde esitamise tähtaeg on 31. oktoober 2009 ning esitada saab töid, mis on valminud 2008. või 2009. aastal. Esitatud üliõpilastöid hindab õppejõududest ja börsispetsialistidest koosnev žürii. Parima töö autorit premeeritakse aasta lõpus toimuval NASDAQ OMX Baltic Market Awards auhinnagaalal 1000 euroga. Üliõpilastööde konkurss toimub juba kolmandat aastat, eelmise aasta konkursi võitis Tiina Jürgens bakalaureusetööga "Võlakirjade varaklass Eestis" (Tallinna Tehnikaülikool, juhendaja: Katrin Rahu).
