Tallinna Merepäevad 2009

17.-19. juulil toimuvad kõigile tallinlastele ja Tallinna külalistele suunatud Tallinna Merepäevad 2009. Merepäevade raames külastavad Tallinna ka kümmekond haruldast purjelaeva, mis on avatud kõigile huvilistele Admiraliteedi basseinis ja Lennusadamas. 17.-19. juulil toimuvad Tallinna Merepäevade 2009 leiavad aset Tallinna linna, Tallinna Sadama, Eesti Meremuuseumi, Eesti Ajalooliste Laevade Seltsi, SA Tallinn 2011 ühisel ettevõtmisel ja SA Tallinn 2011 eestvedamisel. Aastaks 2011, mil Tallinn on Euroopa kultuuripealinn, peaks Merepäevadest kujunema ranna-ala olulisim sündmus pealinnas. Selleks kutsuvad Merepäevade korraldajad juba teist aastat linlasi mere äärde kohale ja pakuvad neile erinevat tegevust, et rannaala kinnistuks huvitava paigana. Tallinna Merepäevi 2009 külastavad ka kümmekond haruldast purjelaeva võistluse The Tall Ships Races 2009 raames. Sellisel hulgal purjelaevu pole Eestis üheaegselt varem viibinud. Purjelaevad peatuvad nii Vanasadamas Admiraliteedi basseini ääres kui ka Lennusadamas. Samuti on üheks suuremaks uuenduseks Jazziala avamine koostöös Jazzkaarega C-terminalis. Merepäevade toimumispaigaks on Admiraliteedi bassein ja Lennusadam, mida ühendab tulevase merepromenaadi ehk Kultuurikilomeetri radadele üles seatud Ain Mäeotsa lavastatud etendus „Dannebrog, Pitka ja keisrid“ ning laevareisid kahe sadama vahel. Tallinna Merepäevad 2009 programmi leiate siit . Avatud on purjelaevad välisriikidest ning Eesti laevad Suur Tõll, Lembit, Kalev, Torm, Blue Sirius, Jahta, Runbjarn, Jõmmu. Lisaks purjetamine robinsonidel, sõitmine haabjatel, batuut "Piraatide laev", täispuhutud bassein sukeldumiseks, Meremuuseumi väljapanekud ja näitus, Veeteede Ameti, EMA Merekooli telgid. Sadamakail avatud telgid söökide ja jookidega. |
